2011 Thank You "Rebuilding Together Spokane"

"Rebuilding Together Spokane" is a group of students and professionals working together to help paint our office and our two houses; Harvest House and Trinity House. These group of active men and women spent all day long painting our kitchen, yard and Core Members' rooms as an act of support for L'Arche Spokane community. The L'Arche Spokane community is grateful for your time and effort to improve our homes and office.

2011 Community Retreat

Our theme this year was commitment and belonging.  Each of us simultaneously supports and is supported by our community.  We all are an important piece of the puzzle, and without any of us, the community would not be complete.   We learned that we all have something special to offer, and also that we are interdependent, and cannot stand completely on our own. . . we all need support.

2010 Community Retreat

View a slideshow of pictures from our 2010 community retreat.  We celebrated our changing relationships as we moved into a period of transition.  Every person that has come through L’Arche Spokane has left a little piece of themselves, and has taken a little piece of L’Arche into their new path.  At our retreat we learned that, even though people were moving around, and we were selling a house, we would still have our relationships, and would just learn to love our friends in a different way.
